Not having much growing up, KB ultimately learned to respect the value of a dollar. But now that he’s a father himself, he promised to give his son what he couldn’t have growing up—but there was a tradeoff. The deal was that he’d give to his son, KenTrell, anything within reason so long as he maintained good grades, and that’s exactly what his son delivered.
Holding up his end of the deal, KenTrell earned good grades and soon found his dad honoring those grades by getting him the ’60s Schwinn he had always wanted. From there they took it to Danny A. who stripped the frame down and then sprayed a Candy Tangerine to the frame with solid orange on the fenders. For a little accenting, he then added yellow and red pinstriping to the frame, fenders, and speaker box that houses the rest of the audio system. As KenTrell continued to ace his homework, he found his father honoring his word and getting him even more parts.
In all, it’s a superclean build that’s the result of hard work and hustle, and it’s only the beginning, as KenTrell is already setting his sites on upgrading into a car once he gets his driver’s license.
Now the only question that remains is, “Is his father going to flip the bill for his lowrider?”
