For everyone out there that happens to be addicted to the Automotive culture of performance, restoration and customizing, you have to mark down your calendar, and make it a once in a lifetime experience to visit the worlds largest Aftermarket Superstore called the SEMA show. Every year, and for the last 49, this Automotive Holiday comes around and takes place the first week of November at the one million square foot exhibit space called the Las Vegas Convention Center. There are about 15 hundred one of kind muscle cars, rods, trucks, Lowriders, motorcycles and off road vehicles that occupy almost every exhibitor booth possible to demonstrate how aftermarket products are used or displayed. The SEMA show estimated to have about 2,500 exhibitors, including 500 that exhibit for the first time. We have been coming to this event for decades now but besides the growth of this show over the years, the thing that has also made it’s presence felt is the quantity of Lowriders on display and the effect or “Influence” that the Lowrider style has spread amongst all the different automotive industries. Besides most vehicles being slammed on the ground, now you see “Flaked” out Ferraris, “Candied” out Muscle cars and Intricate patterned Tuner cars with gold leafing. So while on the subject of custom paint, we wanted to show you what the exhibit booths and displays look like from the big three custom paint companies, Axalta Coating Systems, PPG and House of Kolor. These are the scientists who continue to produce different colors of paint to support the craving custom world of Lowriding.
